Privacy Policy

Claw Shopping is an online store operated by a sole proprietor from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, selling physical products to customers in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you browse or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little: we run a guest checkout with no customer accounts, so we only hold what is needed to get your order to your door.
Information we collect
- Email address — provided at checkout, used to send your order confirmation, shipping updates, and to look up your order.
- Shipping details — your name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, and (optionally) phone number, used solely to deliver your order.
- Order details — the items you purchased, amounts paid, order number, and order status history.
- Attribution cookie — a first-touch UTM cookie that records which campaign or link first brought you to the store. It stores campaign parameters only (no personal information) and expires after 30 days.
- Advertising pixel — when enabled, the TikTok pixel collects standard event data (page views, add-to-cart, purchases) so we can measure ad performance. See the section on advertising below.
- Technical data — like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
We never see or store your card number. Payment details are entered directly with our payment processor and do not touch our servers.
Why we use it
- To process your payment and fulfill and deliver your order.
- To send transactional emails: order confirmation, shipping notification with tracking, and delivery updates.
- To respond to support requests, returns, and refunds.
- To prevent fraud and abuse of the store.
- To understand which marketing channels work, using the attribution cookie and aggregate analytics.
We do not send marketing email unless you have separately opted in, and we do not use your shipping information for anything other than delivering your order and providing support.
Who processes your data for us
We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the store, and only the minimum each one needs:
- Ziina — our payment processor, licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE. Ziina handles your card details directly under its own security and privacy standards; card data never touches our systems. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and a payment reference.
- CJ Dropshipping — our fulfillment partner, which receives your name and shipping address (and phone number where carriers require it) to pack and ship your order from its warehouses.
- Vercel — hosts this website and processes the standard technical logs described above.
- Analytics providers — we use privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics to understand site traffic. Where the TikTok pixel is enabled, TikTok receives event data as described below.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law (for example, a lawful request from a court or regulator).
Cookies and advertising
We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep your cart working during checkout. The first-touch attribution cookie described above expires after 30 days and contains only campaign parameters. When the TikTok pixel is active, TikTok may set its own cookies and receive event data (such as a page view or purchase event) in order to measure and improve our advertising; this data is processed under TikTok's own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — the store will still work, though you may need to re-add items to your cart.
How long we keep data
Order records (including your email and shipping address) are kept for as long as needed to service the order — delivery, returns, refunds, and any payment disputes — and afterwards for bookkeeping and tax purposes, typically up to five years. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short rolling window. The attribution cookie expires on its own after 30 days. If you ask us to delete your data, we will remove everything we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights (US customers)
You can ask us, at any time, to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email support@clawshopping.com with your order number and we will respond within a reasonable time, verifying your identity via the email address used at checkout.
California (CCPA/CPRA) note: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The categories we collect are exactly those listed above: identifiers (email, name, address) and commercial information (order history). Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas) may exercise equivalent rights through the same email address.
Children
Our store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
